Why choose Treece Financial Group over a larger firm?
We prioritize people, relationships, and professionalism above fees and profits. Our mission is to genuinely improve the well-being of our clients, employees, community, and world.
Who is your typical client?
We specialize in retirement planning and serve clients of all backgrounds who are saving for, close to, or already in retirement. Our main focus is creating a plan to ensure our clients don't run out of money in retirement.
We have many clients who are single, including many who are older and alone, and we pride ourselves in being able to offer high levels of service to these clients. We also have a strong relationship with the LGBTQ+ community in South Florida.
Do you have a minimum account size?
Many of our programs have a minimum account amount of $50,000 or $100,000. Our ideal client has at least $250,000 in assets to invest for retirement or to distribute to heirs. We offer financial planning services with no minimum account size.
What are your qualifications?
David has over 30 years of experience as a consumer-oriented advocate and financial retirement planner. He is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) and holds CLTC® Certification for Long-Term Care. David holds life, health, and annuity insurance licenses as well as series 6, 22, 52 62, 63, and 65 securities registrations, and has an MBA from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He is fluent in Spanish.
How often will we meet?
We are available to meet in person, via Zoom, or over the phone whenever you need us. We provide a comprehensive annual report on your portfolio's performance and analysis.
How do you make money?
We are fee-based fiduciaries and charge for our services based on assets under management (AUM) or specific services. Our fees are transparent and not commission-based.
Who holds my assets?
All assets are held at a third-party custodian, most often Pershing LLC, a part of the Bank of New York Mellon. The custodian prepares tax documents and performance reports and provides online access to your account. We never take custody of your assets.
Why do I need to provide so much personal information?
Consider a visit to your doctor. Without complete and fully accurate details, your doctor cannot prescribe the best course of action. Accurate and complete details are necessary for us to provide the best financial planning advice for your individual situation.
Do you share fees with other professionals you refer?
No, we do not accept commissions or fee splits from professionals we recommend.
